April 23, 2016  the second edition of the So La La Festival took place.

The number of spectators has increased by 50% compared to the previous year, so around 600 visitors were able to experience the six a cappella bands in the Solingen theater and concert hall.

The groups noisy, HörBänd, YeoMen, Die Bembelsänger and One World Project took part in the contest. Last year's audience winners "Die NotenDealer" performed as a special act at the final, out of competition.

The groups showed the best of their repertoire for 30 minutes each, so that the audience could enjoy a total of six great a cappella shows in one evening.

The "YeoMen" group won the € 1000 jury prize donated by the Stadtsparkasse Solingen.

Won the audience award  the group "HörBänd" and took  five forged knives donated by the Güde company to take home as a trophy.

All in all, a top-class show from all participating bands was offered on the evening, there was a lot of enthusiastic feedback from the audience during and after the festival, where the great staging, the good band selection, the varied genre mix and the great organization were repeatedly praised.

And the bands also made it clear to us across the board that they felt they were in good hands and looked after and that they had a great evening.
