Five voices. Five characters. Three women. Two men. A special sound. The Hanoverian a cappella quintet Sub5 successfully avoids setting themselves limits again and again. The five singers manage to elegantly combine a range of folk songs from the Beatles to Jessie J, as long as everything stays bite-sized. The current live program [faiv] revolves around the debut album of the same name, which can be seen as a mirror of their tireless urge to discover.

In addition to appearances across Germany with successes at competitions in 2015 (Leipzig) and 2016 (Stuttgart), she made her way to New York (2016), Namibia (2017), Great Britain (2018) and 2019  to festivals in Denmark and Belgium. One or the other competition is not safe from Sub5 either. In May they won the special award for the best arrangement at the Aarhus Vocal Festival 2019.
