Ambrosia a cappella

A great passion for singing, many years of experience and the constant striving for the highest quality - that is what connects the 6 singers of "Ambrosia a cappella".

From trained singers to conductors to composers, each member of the group has their own strong roots in the world of music. Everyone brings their own competence, which leads to an exciting musical mix. A challenging jazz song, mystical worlds of sound, world-famous pop songs in a new guise, improvisations, vocal percussion; Ambrosia shows all of these facets.

Ambrosia a cappella was founded in March 2018 and gave the first public concert in August of the same year: a collaboration with the Guus Tangelder Bigband in the Luxue Theater in Arnhem. In December the group auditioned at the international Aarhus Vocal Festival and promptly became one of the six finalists.

In 2019 Ambrosia was invited to take part in the premier class of the highly regarded Dutch BALK TOPfestival in October​ .

In 2020 the group made their first promo recordings at kh music in Utrecht (audio) and De Tempelhof in Winssen (video).
